The Hero's story Episode-2(New friendship new innings)

On October 24, Ashwanth entered the class, hoping someone would wish him for his birthday. But just like every other day, no one cared. He felt ignored.  

That same day, a new girl joined the school. Her name was Lilly, a short girl from Chennai. She joined his class in the next section. Luckily, they both traveled on the same school bus.  

Ashwanth, feeling disappointed, went to sit in his usual seat. But when he got there, he found a bag already placed. Annoyed, he asked, "Why did you put your bag here? This is my place."  

Lilly smiled and said, "I like this seat the most, so I chose it."  

Ashwanth, still upset, sat there. Lilly noticed his sad face and asked, "Why do you look so sad?"  

With a deep sigh, he replied, "Today is my birthday, but no one in class wished me."  

Lilly immediately said, "Oh! Happy birthday, my friend!"  

Ashwanth was confused. "Friend? We just talked now. How can we be friends?"  

Lilly laughed. "Okay, let’s introduce ourselves. I’m Lilly, studying in Class 2, Section B. What about you?"  

"I’m Ashwanth, studying in Class 2, Section A," he replied.  

Lilly smiled. "Oh! I heard about you! Some girls in my class were talking about you during the break."  

Ashwanth was curious. "Really? What did they say?"  

Lilly hesitated for a moment, then said, "They made fun of me. They said I’m too short and that my face isn’t nice."  

Ashwanth was shocked. "Wait... you knew that? How are you not upset?"  

Lilly smiled again. "Because my father always says, *'Accept your weakness, and one day it will become your biggest strength.

Ashwanth was surprised. He had never thought like that before.  

The bus started moving.  

When Lilly’s stop came, she waved goodbye and got down. Ashwanth sat there, thinking about what she had said.  

Fom Strangers to close friends 

The next day, they talked more. Slowly, they became close friends.  

From Class 2 to Class 10, their friendship only grew stronger.  

In March, everyone was worried about the upcoming public exams.  

Lilly helped Ashwanth in his studies, encouraging him to do better. But things didn’t go as planned.  

Even after studying hard, Ashwanth failed two subjects.

Now, while others moved forward, he had to attend tutorial classes to clear his exams.

This is just the beginning of a new chapter.
